Transformers vs. Aftermath

This is rare footage of possibly my only match as a full member of Transformers.  This is round 2 of an All-Star Team Fortress League match between Transformers and Aftermath, one of the strongest clans in TF history and the successor clan to Iron Curtain.  I was extremely excited to play in a match full of members of Paragon (the soldier guild) and especially Kaizen (the #1 sniper guild.)  My role in this round was rather unusual, as soundwave was our permanent defensive sniper facing off against Argyle and littleslug, two of the best snipers TF ever saw, while I split time between defensive and offensive sniper and a little offensive scout towards the end.

Going into round 2, we had a 70-frag deficit to make up, which pretty much meant winning on captures.  Unfortunately, Aftermath had an extremely tight defense, and we never really got close to a cap.  I was even more excited for this round than round 1 because I'd be facing off against littleslug while I was defensive sniping.  I consider littleslug to be the best sniper I've ever faced.  Better than ChaosFiend, and I never actually faced Anfernee in a match.  Anyway, he and Argyle lived up to their billing as amazing snipers, though every time I did manage to frag littleslug, I got some extra satisfaction.  The highlight of the round, undoubtedly, was at the end, when Optimus timed out for us.  WHEELJACK had been spectating, and came in to replace him.  Two seconds after he started, the round ended.

So it was a 1-0 cap defeat and we probably lost by another 150 frags or so.  A disappointment but not an awful result against such a strong opponent.
